Energy Self-Sufficiency for Hawaii by 2010

During our recent board meeting, Blue Planet founder Henk Rogers passed out copies of a page from a 1977 Hawaii legislative report. It was a graphic that showed exactly how Hawaii could become energy self-sufficient by 2010, excluding airline fuel. The last generation, it seems, wanted to do the same for us as we want to do for the next. The question remains not whether we can, but how do we get there. The answer is what Blue Planet Foundation is here to help coalesce. Now is the time, Hawaii! We can't afford to wait another 30 years.
