POSITION: Clean Transportation Intern
REPORTS TO: Blue Planet Foundation’s Mobility and Equity Manager
POSITION TYPE: Temporary, Part-time (20 hours/week)
LOCATION: Honolulu, Hawai‘i
TERM: September – December, 2022 (15 weeks total, plus 1 week unpaid vacation)
COMPENSATION: Undergraduate: $15/hr; Graduate Student: $18/hr
This Clean Transportation Intern will support the work of Blue Planet Foundation’s clean transportation programs and partnerships including the Sustainable Transportation Coalition of Hawaii (STCH) and Drive Electric Hawaii (DEH). STCH is one of more than 90 U.S. Department of Energy Clean Cities Coalitions that work to reduce petroleum use in ground transportation. The intern will support stakeholder outreach activities and community events that will increase public engagement on clean transportation solutions in Hawaii.
