Clean Transportation Intern
POSITION TYPE: Temporary, Part-Time (20 hours/week), Paid Hourly
RATE: Undergraduate: $12.00/hour, Graduate: $15.00/hour
TERM: February 1 – May 14, 2021 with one unpaid week of vacation
SUMMARY: The Clean Transportation Intern will support the work of Blue Planet Foundation’s clean transportation programs including the EV Expert Certification Program, Sustainable Transportation Coalition of Hawaii (STCH), the Hawaii Bike Challenge, and Drive Electric Hawaii. The intern will manage the outreach, coordination, and communications for the EV Expert Certification Program, Hawaii’s online electric vehicle dealership training program. They will support communications and stakeholder engagement for the Sustainable Transportation Coalition of Hawaii (STCH), which will include social media, quarterly newsletters, and email outreach. Additionally, the intern will gain experience in public outreach by recruiting participants for the upcoming Hawaii Bike Challenge.
