As Creative Director, David oversees marketing, media relations, and visual content production from ideation to execution, including digital marketing strategies, creative content development, video production, photography, and social media. David is an Emmy-nominated Director and Producer for his recent work on Blue Planet and KHON’s collaborative TV series, Empowered: Hawai‘i’s Clean Energy Future.
In 2019, David was recognized as one of “40 Under 40” young professional leaders by Pacific Business News.
Before Blue Planet
David graduated with a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Hawai‘i (UH) at Mānoa, where he led the Energy Team of Sustainable UH. David’s team engaged numerous campus groups and administrators in energy efficiency efforts, training them to assess and reduce energy consumption in their campus facilities.
