Kiani directs Blue Planet Foundation’s clean mobility programs and serves as the Clean Cities Coordinator for the Sustainable Transportation Coalition of Hawai’i (STCH). In her role, Jones educates local leaders, policymakers, and the public about clean transportation and directs a portfolio of projects and initiatives intended to break down barriers to clean mobility across the state. She is Blue Planet’s voice for increased clean transportation infrastructure, transformative clean mobility policies, and more sustainable personal mobility choices in Hawaii.
Kiani has twelve years of experience in the electric power industry working for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power where she spent three years managing Electric Transportation Programs. She has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California Los Angeles Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University.
After becoming pregnant with her first child, Kiani grew a passion for burgers which continues today. It’s the one pregnancy craving that never went away.
