We get this question often! Even though we have “foundation” in our name, Blue Planet Foundation is actually a public charity – not a private foundation. This means that our funding by law comes from many sources, including individuals, private foundations, government agencies, and businesses.

Yes! Make checks payable to Blue Planet Foundation and mail to 126 Queen Street, Suite 204 Honolulu, HI 96813. Tax receipts will be mailed within two to four weeks after the donation has been processed.
